Trump jokes to press: 'If you open your mouths you will be attacked' by this dog (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump hates the "fake news" media. He keeps saying it at almost every press conference. So, what did he do today? One of the first things out of his mouth when addressing reporters in front of the White House was how if they opened their mouths, military dog Conan could attack them.

Conan is the hero dog that was injured in the raid that led to the death of ISIS leader al-Baghdadi.

"So, this is Conan. Right now, probably the world's most famous dog. I think I have to use the word probably. And, Conan is, well, it's an incredible story. I learned a lot about this particular type of dog. And, it's trained that if you open your mouths you will be attacked."

Trump pointed at all of the reporters as he said this, jokingly. "You want to be very, very careful."

Even though the mood was light on this particular day, given Trump's repeated attacks towards the press and his track record of cozying up to dictators from around the world who jail journalists, we don't find it very funny.

If you think we're being too serious and should lighten up, conservative media is getting a huge kick out of it.

Trump was asked if he wanted to adopt the dog and he refused to respond directly saying instead "I love this dog."

Trump, of course, has decided not to get a dog because he's just not an animal type of person. He's also a major germaphobe. While walking towards the Oval he was asked if he'd reconsider and get his son Baron a dog, and he turned around and gave a big smile, before continuing to walk away again.
