Trump goes off on Sunday tirade, claims he works more than any other president
President Donald Trump is going off on his usual Sunday morning storm.
Today, he's firing back at the suggestion that "Executive Time" on his schedule is a bad thing. He claims it's proof that he's working.
Not only that but he says he probably works harder than almost any other president in history.
Here's the tirade that happened moments ago:
"The media was able to get my work schedule, something very easy to do, but it should have been reported as a positive, not negative. When the term Executive Time is used, I am generally working, not relaxing. In fact, I probably work more hours than almost any past President....."
....The fact is, when I took over as President, our Country was a mess. Depleted Military, Endless Wars, a potential War with North Korea, V.A., High Taxes & too many Regulations, Border, Immigration & HealthCare problems, & much more. I had no choice but to work very long hours!"
As of this moment, the White House is still trying to find the "leaker" of Trump's schedule. They are making use of the White House's IT office to trace back the source.
Good luck with that. The White House has still yet to find the dozens of other leakers in the administration, something that has haunted this president since taking office.
Back to Trump's point of working harder than anyone else: If this is true, then that means he works into the very, very late hours of the night. We know this because Trump's schedule for the past 3 months shows his first meetings at around 11:00 a.m. in the morning. That's almost unheard of. Most people are near mid-way through their work day by that time.
In any case, the schedule shows that most of his schedule is unaccounted for, so if he is working hard, there's no proof that he is. I guess we will just have to take his word for it, golf vacations aside.
