Trump complains right in front of Pelosi - she fires back by saying he'll never measure up to Obama (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump delivered remarks at the National Prayer Breakfast on Thursday - just one day after the Senate decided to narrowly acquit him - and things got a little awkward.

Trump still has a grudge against Speaker Nancy Pelosi for impeaching him and he just couldn't resist with her sitting a few chairs down from him.

Here's how Trump kicked off the speech, by going after Pelosi and his enemies:

“I don’t like people who use their faith as justification for doing what they know is wrong, nor do I like people who say 'I pray for you' when they know that's not so.”

Pelosi held a straight face and sat through it like a pro (for a bit).

Trump is referring to the time Pelosi said she was praying for the president because her Catholic faith demands it. She sounded very sincere when she said it. Pelosi held off impeaching Trump for over a year before she was finally forced to based on his recent actions in Ukraine - too many Democrats demanded the House of Representatives take a stand.

Shortly after the speech, Pelosi gave a press conference of her own, and started tearing into the president for "trying to discredit the triumph of the Obama administration on the economy" during his Union speech:

"He (Trump) still hasn't even matched President Obama's growth in the stock market. Trump didn't inherit a mess, he inherited a momentum."

She also said that she tore up Trump's State of the Union speech because its "dangerous" for the American people to believe it.
