'They are dying. It is what it is' - Trump on Coronavirus deaths (VIDEO)

President Donald Trump sat down for a one-on-one interview with Axios reporter Jonathan Swan. The segment aired Monday evening on HBO.

During the segment, Swan talked about Coronavirus deaths. Trump proceeded to pull out several charts and graphs, saying that "in numerous categories we're lower, than, the world. We're lower than Europe." "Lower than the world?" Swan responded.

Swan went on to question what Trump was talking about, taking a look at one of the charts. “Oh, you’re doing death as a proportion of cases. I’m talking about death as a proportion of population. That’s where the U.S. is really bad. Much worse than South Korea, Germany, etc.”

“You can’t do that," Trump responded.

“Why can’t I do that?” Swan asked.

Trump also claimed in the interview that he didn't go to the funeral of Civil Rights pioneer John Lewis because Lewis didn't attend Trump's inauguration.
