Nancy Pelosi: Trump is too 'morbidly obese' to be risking his health with unapproved drugs (VIDEO)
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is trying to put politics aside for a second and actually think about President Donald Trump's health after learning that the president is taking hydroxychloroquine to prevent the coronavirus even though he exhibits no symptoms according to him.
While speaking to CNN's Anderson Cooper, Speaker Pelosi sounded like a concerned citizen:
"I would rather he not be taking something that has not been approved by the scientists, especially in his age group, and in his, shall we say, weight group: 'Morbidly obese,' they say."
The conversation between her and Anderson then quickly dived into Trump's firing of yet another inspector general.
Republicans largely disregarded Speaker Pelosi's entire conversation about the corruption of firing people currently investigating the Trump administration and instead got heated for her referring to their president as a special kind of obese.
Nancy Pelosi called President Trump morbidly obese on CNN. Democrats and CNN love it. Imagine if Trump called Stacey Abrams morbidly obese. They’d all call him a racist fat shaming jerk. All we’d hear about for a month is body positivity. Total hypocrites. pic.twitter.com/7TmVeZxazL— Robby Starbuck (@robbystarbuck) May 19, 2020
You have to admit this is fair game, though. Trump and his family have been insinuating with ever increasing momentum that Joe Biden is committing crimes against children. Calling out Trump for an apparent weight problem and lack of exercise isn't that big a deal in comparison.
