Lindsey Graham tells Trump no after he demands Obama be hauled in front of the Senate for crimes (VIDEO)

President Trump called on Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to bring former President Obama before the Senate regarding his alleged "Obamagate" scandal on Thursday, not expecting to be rebuked.

"If I were a Senator or Congressman, the first person I would call to testify about the biggest political crime and scandal in the history of the USA, by FAR, is former President Obama. He knew EVERYTHING. Do it Lindsey Graham, just do it. No more Mr. Nice Guy. No more talk!"

Graham responded he was not going to do that:

“I don’t think now’s the time for me to do that,” Graham reportedly told Congressional reporter Andrew Desidero. “I don’t know if that’s even possible.”

He added: “I understand President Trump’s frustration, but be careful what you wish for."

Is Trump aware that this would set a dangerous precedent for him personally?

Earlier in the day on Fox Business, Trump re-iterated his stance that Obamagate is the 'greatest political scam' in US history. He even suggested that Obama and Biden should be in prison.

"If I were a Democrat instead of a Republican, I think everybody would've been in jail a long time ago, & I'm talking with 50-year sentences...people should be going to jail for this stuff...this was all Obama. This was all Biden."

Trump also neglected every single intelligence report on record by saying Russia wanted Hillary Clinton as president, not him.

"Actually, [Russia] wanted Hillary Clinton to win. Nobody's been tougher -- you can speak to Putin or anybody else -- nobody has been tougher on Russian than I have. They wanted Hillary Clinton to win."

Trump is really ramping up his re-election messaging and must think its helping him with voters.
